[Spoilers ahead!]
Quick but powerful just like a traditional espresso, this short scene is all we can think of whenever we hear someone say ‘make that coffee to go’.
In Frankie’s defense, we also would have tried to keep the moka pot full of freshly brewed coffee!
Everything about the unforgettable Audrey Hepburn is iconic in this movie, from her black dress to the long cigarette holder.
Still, if we had to pick the most memorable moment, it’d definitely be the very beginning of the movie: Holly Golightly enjoys a pastry and a takeaway coffee while daydreaming in front of Tiffany’s shop windows, with Moon River playing in the background.
There are many reasons why Agent Cooper seems to be everyone’s favorite—and most relatable—Twin Peaks characters, but ours is obviously his love for coffee.
Or, better: for damn fine cups of coffee, just like the ones we roast.
It always breaks our heart when we see coffee being mistreated. However, Chazz Palminteri’s character had a pretty good excuse to drop the mug, since he had just solved the movie’s entire mystery.
We’ll forgive him. Just for this one time.
While we don’t condone his manners, we can totally understand Thor’s enthusiasm in this memorable coffee movie scene.
This hot drink really is good enough for the gods!
A parody movie next to so many masterpieces? Really?
Well, seeing all the worried passengers lose control and the crew turn on an ‘Okay, panic’ sign only when they hear that the plane has run out of coffee was way too relatable to leave it out.
Ok, maybe we don’t want to remember the beautiful but heartbreaking scene that follows it, but we certainly appreciated seeing Mia go back to the same coffee shop where she used to work.
This coffee movie scene mirrors the one we’ve seen towards the beginning… only this time it’s Mia who gets offered the free joe by the staff.
It’s good to see other people take coffee so seriously!
However, don’t worry: you don’t need all that equipment to make the best coffee you’ve ever tasted. Just try our favorite recipe.
Paul Rudd’s character has pretty much said what we’ve all thought at least once in our lifetime: coffee menus can be so confusing in some cafés (here’s how to decipher most of them).
Plus, when you haven’t even had your first coffee of the day, it’s really hard to keep it together.
Finally, no cinematic list would be complete without a Tarantino title, especially since there are so many coffee movie scenes in his filmography. From the opening of Reservoir Dogs to the whole poisoned coffee plot in The Hateful Eight, it was hard to choose.
However, we think that Samuel L. Jackson trying to distract Tarantino’s character by telling him ‘how good his coffee is’ deserves this spot. We’ll be honest: his trick would have definitely worked with us!
These were some of the best coffee scenes in movies and TV shows in our opinion.
