Introducing Uganda Coffee from region of Bugisu, the exclusive coffee for July 2023, to Coffee of the Month Club members.
When you drink this creamy roast, you’ll detect clear notes of vanilla and dark chocolate. With its moderate acidity, balanced body and appealing sweetness, this Ugandan coffee goes down smooth and easy, cup after cup. Throughout the day, you’ll keep coming back for more.
It’s precisely the type of fulfilling experience that the founders of the Sipi Falls Coffee Project imagined. The effort began in 1999, high on the slopes of Mount Elgon in eastern Uganda. Now 5,000 small farmers raise the coffee across just 2,000 fertile hectares.
The project gained organic certification within just a few years of launching, and farmers are continually trained and educated in the best ways to produce socially and environmentally responsible coffee.
Though coffee is the primary crop, the trees are grown alongside banana trees and beans, which provide shade and additional nutrients to support healthy growth. The harvested coffee beans are fully washed before being dried on raised beds in preparation for exporting.
From the first taste of this delicious Ugandan coffee, you’ll love it.
