If there’s anyone who appreciates speed, it’s a firefighter.
Firefighters like to get places fast. They need to get where they’re going fast.
This need for speed is also shared with Antron Brown and the drivers of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA).
NHRA cars can exceed speeds of 300 miles per hour! And now Fire Department Coffee will be fueling those drivers and their fans.
We are proud to announce that we’ve reached a multiyear agreement to become The Official Coffee of the NHRA.
So keep an eye out because you’ll be seeing Fire Dept. Coffee collaborating with the NHRA at events and through digital outlets. We’ll be making our official race day debut at the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals on March 9-12 at Florida’s famed Gainesville Raceway.
One of the best parts of the deal for us?
At each race, we’ll be spearheading the inaugural “NHRA Hero of the Day” program. The program will identify and honor a local veteran, firefighter or first responder in the crowd at all 2023 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series season events.
“We’re looking forward to the opportunity to introduce our brand, and our mission, and get out on the track to share Fire Dept. Coffee with NHRA fans across the country,” said Luke Schneider, Founder and CEO of Fire Department Coffee. “It’s especially exciting to use our new platform to honor a local hero at each event.”
As we work to introduce more people to Fire Dept. Coffee’s collection of handcrafted roasts, it made complete sense to connect with race fans. After all, we’ve been in fire stations from coast to coast, and we know they are filled with race fans.
Get a group of firefighters together and the conversation will eventually turn to cars. Fast cars. Motorsports debates are sure to follow.
We know that Fire Dept. Coffee fans are also NHRA fans. And we know they’ll welcome any new FDC fans that we’re fortunate enough to make with this collaboration.
We’ve already made one key connection at NHRA. Top Fuel star, Antron Brown, is a three-time world champion with 71 career wins. He’s the owner of AB Motorsports, and he’ll be working closely with Fire Department Coffee to introduce his dedicated fanbase to our coffee throughout the year.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Fire Department Coffee as the presenting partner of the Pit Side Experience,” Brown said. “We host upwards of 6,000 guests each year amongst Matco Tools, FVP and the ABM roster of partners, and for Fire Dept. Coffee to see the NHRA and ABM as a prominent marketing platform makes us very proud. We’ll have a permanent coffee bar inside the Pit Side Experience for our guests and team to enjoy, and we’re ready to help introduce the NHRA fan base to a great coffee brand.”
Everything about this collaboration with NHRA gets us excited. After all, what is coffee if not fuel? Smooth, rich, delicious fuel. We’re excited for NHRA fans to discover what Fire Dept. Coffee fans have known for years.
Pour a cup, fuel up and get the job done — or in this case, race to the finish line.

FDC made a very wise decision making a deal with Antron and NHRA. I know Antron personally and he is the best spokesperson in any form of motorsports, bar none.
I have been around drag racing in one way or another for over 40 years and I am positive you will love NHRA.
Good luck, God Bless and keep going!!!
