The roar of the engines. The excitement in the air. The thrill of racing at breakneck speeds toward the checkered flag.
And what's better than a steaming hot cup of Fire Dept. Coffee to celebrate a victory in Victory Lane?
We are thrilled to announce that Fire Department Coffee will partner with Sam Hunt Racing to sponsor Kaz Grala’s No. 26 Toyota throughout the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. With its bold fire engine red paint job, Grala's Toyota Supra is set to make a blazing impression on the track.
“We are honored to partner with Kaz Grala and Sam Hunt Racing for the 2023 season,” said Luke Schneider, Founder and CEO of Fire Dept. Coffee. “The partnership with Kaz Grala and Sam Hunt Racing in NASCAR felt like a natural fit, and presented the perfect opportunity for Fire Dept. Coffee to share our incredible coffee, and our mission to support first responders in need.”
This is the second time Fire Dept. Coffee is diving into the high-octane world of professional motorsports, having recently announced our sponsorship as the Official Coffee of the National Hot Rod Association.
It's no surprise, as firefighters and first responders have always been drawn to the excitement of motorsports.
Now we can bring Fire Dept. Coffee to the track to help fuel drivers and fans on race day.
A Boston native who has been burning up the tracks since age 4, Kaz Grala has spent the last two decades rising through the ranks. He made his Xfinity Series debut in 2018. Year after year, he’s continued to make his mark on the sport. Joining Sam Hunt Racing for the 2023 season, he’s poised to make an even bigger impact.
His relentless pursuit of victory is fueled by a love of the sport and a desire to be the best. That's why Fire Dept. Coffee, with its passion for delivering top-notch coffee and supporting firefighters and first responders, is the perfect match for Kaz.
“Fire Dept. Coffee was inspired by the vital role that coffee plays in helping firefighters stay alert and energized through long shifts, and their team knows that a similar mentality is required in racing,” Grala said. “I’ve always struggled to find a coffee that I truly love, but once I tried Fire Dept. Coffee products a couple of months ago, I was immediately hooked. I can’t wait for our fans to get a chance to taste their coffee and get behind a company that gives so much back to the community.”
Grala’s No. 26 Fire Dept. Coffee Toyota will take the track for the first time on February 25 during the Production Alliance Group 300 at Autoclub Speedway in Fontana, California. Grala will wear a custom FDC firesuit and helmet, while his crew will wear custom FDC firesuits and crew attire.
Throughout the season, Fire Dept. Coffee will team up with Grala and Sam Hunt Racing to host meet & greets, coffee tastings and other events for fans and industry members to enjoy.
“FDC is a company that is established on many of the same principals and goals as our team,” said Sam Hunt, owner of Sam Hunt Racing. “FDC is a young and hungry company that works hard to stand out amongst the rest, much like Kaz himself, while providing delicious products along the way and supporting our nation’s veterans and first responders.
Throughout the 2023 season, Fire Department Coffee and Kaz Grala of Sam Hunt Racing and NASCAR's Xfinity Series will host meet and greets throughout the U.S. The first 25 fans will receive a free Fire Department Coffee hat signed by Kaz. Autographed cards will also be available (while supplies last).

Where can I find Fire Department Coffee racing gear?
May 09, 2023
Being a former Volunteer Firefighter for 10 years and loving NASCAR I have some questions. Are you coming near St. Louis Missouri for a meet and greet? And can some buy a 1/24 die cast replica car of what will be being raced?
